  2. Great CD Review by Teeara

I bought this last autumn at Acadia during a shore excursion on a Canada / New England cruise. Every time I listen to it I'm reminded of that cruise and the wonderful time I had exploring the natural beauty of the area. The music is wonderful and this has become one of my favorite CDs to listen to. Very relaxing and non-invasive. (Posted on 8/22/12)

  4. Thanks for taking me back to Acadia whenever I want Review by D.K. from CT

We spent a few days in Acadia in 2003 when my son and daughter were 9 & 11. My wife picked up this cd after dining at Jordon Pond. It captures so many emotions and allows us all to relive our joyous visit to Acadia. This music touches my soul and never fails to lift me up and take me to a state of peace and joy.

I love the guitar work of Grant Geissman. I've always been a fan and didn't read the album artist list until after 5+ listenings. I have always been in awe of his virtuosity and yet the simplicity of his playing on Sounds of Acadia is so moving!

This CD is a must for anyone who appreciates music and nature! (Posted on 1/14/12)

  5. An Excellent Memeber of the National Park Series Review by anonymous62

The Sounds of Acadia album combines peaceful and soothing classical music with the natural symphony of Acadia National Park. The ocean and nature sounds along with the accompaniment really capture the essence of the park. This album is a fine addition to any music library.

  6. Sounds Of Acadi-Ahhh! CD. 7;^) Review by Bill (From Acadia National Park, Maine)

I first purchased, listened to (and experienced) this wonderful "Sounds Of Acadia" CD during my first (of many) visits from Lake Placid, NY to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park in 2005 ... notably while driving along Acadia's breathtakingly scenic Park Loop Road ("Ocean Drive") on a misty early autumn morning. Needless to say, that was the day that I fell in love with not only Acadia National Park, but also this amazingly beautiful CD. In early 2007, I moved to this beautiful Island and this beautiful "Sounds Of Acadia" CD (which I have gifted to countless friends) continues to provide me with endless inspiration, beauty and spiritual healing.

Thank you, Orange Tree Productions and here's looking forward to the day when this and all of the other Orange Tree Productions recordings are made available for purchase and download via Apple iTunes for our iPads and iPod Nanos!

  7. Great Album Review by E.E. rocks

This is such a great album! It really displays the nature of Acadia parks! I like to put this on in the background when I'm reading and it soothes me so much I just get lost in the moment. (Posted on 5/18/10)

  8. Best in the series - worth possessing Review by Indian Girl

I got this CD from a friend 9 years ago. Then when I found out about the National Park series, I decided to sample/buy other national park music CDs. This CD still stayed on the top of my list.

It is the best compilation of some really smooth and slower melodies and then peppy upbeat numbers. I can wake up to this CD or go to bed with this music playing. This music can both uplift you and relax you .....

    Worth possessing! (Posted on 4/23/10)

  9. Beautiful Music PLUS Background Sounds of Acadia Review by Cindy - Friend of Acadia

I have had this CD for about 5 years now and love it. It captures perfectly the tranquility you feel when visiting Acadia! I purchased it in the Jordan Pond Acadia Gift Shop - and then discovered the other Orange Tree Productions music...I listen to these often and the Sounds of Acadia is my favorite. 10. My Wife Loves this Album! Review by Kevin Kirchner

My wife went to Acadia often with her family when she was younger. Unfortunately, her parents own this CD, but it's nice to know I can buy it here -- she said she loves this CD!
