Something magical happens where the ocean meets the shore along the scenic California coast. Experience this magic as this CD explores the most beautiful and diverse coastline in the world. Waves from the blue Pacific pound against the rocky shore, songbirds sing in the sanctuary of a towering redwood forest, a summer storm brings welcome rain to a coastal island, a spotted owl calls out in the wilderness as night beckons. From the rocky cliffs and redwood forests of the north to the sandy beaches and arid landscapes of the south, California is blessed with more than its share of nature's bounty. Recorded on location in the Redwood National and State Parks, Point Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods National Monument and Golden Gate National Parks, Channel Islands National Park and Cabrillo National Monument, and in other areas along the California coast.
A portion of each sale is donated to Redwood Natural History Association, Southwest Parks & Monuments Association, Golden Gate National Parks Association, Point Reyes National Seashore Association, and Cabrillo National Monument Foundation.

Great! Review by Kiwi7215
This is a fantastic CD to accompany any trip up the California Coast. It's part of a series made for the National Parks System, all of which are really well done. The music is relaxing and incorporates natural sounds from the area as well as nice, relaxing music. It's a great listen while driving -- well worth it! (Posted on 8/22/12)
relaxing Review by kathy
I love this CD. Got it when I was in Mendocino and played it while I was driving highway one. Sounded so authentic. I now have it in my waiting area in my practice so my patients can be relaxed while they wait. Love it even though heard it all day long, on repeat. (Posted on 5/29/10)
